DMT Recertification & Upgrade Program
This program is designed to provide current BASIC Diver Medical Technicians with the NBDHMT required advanced invasive skills to qualify for recertification as a Diver Medic. Currently certified DMTs will NOT be able to apply to the NBDHMT for recertification unless they have completed this "bridge" course.
Students will be provided the knowledge and skills to provide advanced
care to persons injured in the diving related work and recreational
environments. This is a 40 hour, fast paced class. It will provide current DMTs will all of the newly required invasive skills, and several optional advanced skills, set forth by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology. Program Cost The cost of this program is $650.00 USD per student. Payment maybe made utilizing our secure, online payment page. The tuition costs include all course materials/disposables and textbooks. This cost also includes shuttle service from several Milwaukee area hotels. Program Location - Milwaukee Area The program will be conducted at our Milwaukee Area facility located on the northeast corner at the intersection of South Howell and Rawson Avenues in the City of Oak Creek, Wisconsin. This location is approximately 2 miles south of the airport and is surrounded by numerous hotels. Student Requirements All students must be currently certified by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology as a Diver Medical Technician.
